The engineering phase of the CleanSeas Demonstration is now complete. All the major equipment has been ordered and on-site construction has been kicked-off.
“With the successful completion of engineering, The CleanSeas Demonstration Project has reached an exciting milestone,” said Enlighten’s Project Manager, Kathleen Coffey. “We are now moving into construction and looking forward to start-up in the second quarter of 2022.”
The CleanSeas Project will demonstrate Enlighten’s breakthrough DSU® technology – a net-zero refining process for producing clean low sulphur marine fuel oil from bottom-of-the-barrel feedstocks.
